Huba Szeremley, founder of the Pannonian Wine Guild, began revitalising and expanding his family wineyards in 1992. Today, it is one of the best known family estates around Mount Badacsony and Lake Balaton. The winery is best known for its native Hungarian wines: the female Kéknyelű (Blue Stem), the Budai Zöld; Zeus became known around the World as the late harvest speciality of the winery, as well as its sister, the Olaszrizling late harvest, the Szürkebarát (Pinot Gris) and the extra dry and parfumy Muscat Ottonel, which is beloved also as an apéritife, Riesling Selection became an immediate success. Beside Pinot Noir, the main blue variety, the winery produces Kékfrankos, Cabernet Sauvignon, Syrah and the almost extinct Bakator. The reds are aged in Hungarian made barrique, produced in the area.
