The Kodály Association of Southern California (KASC) was established in 1980 by Katinka Scipiades Daniel. Mrs. Daniel, who is a charter member of the International Kodály Society, developed the curriculum of the Kodály Method for the United States, which was personally approved by Jenö Adám and Zoltán Kodály. With 97 members and growing, KASC is one of the largest OAKE chapters in the country.

Arizona Kodály Teachers Society is a professional organization of music educators dedicated to a philodopy of music education inspired by Hungarian composer and educator Zoltán Kodály. The Association was established to foster a sporit of fellowship among Arizona music teachers, provide a meeting ground for an axchange of ideas and materials, serve as a resource center for opportunities in Kodály training.
