Village Music from Transylvania: Szászka performs village dance music from Transylvania and Hungary for events and workshops in the Midwestern U.S. The band was founded in Madison, Wisconsin in 1996. The group has studied this music with musicians in Hungary and Transylvania and with visiting bands in North America and in the Netherlands.
